The games

Mystery Factor: Each problem is a detective case with a hidden number under a card. Kids find missing factors, pick facts that belong to a fact family, divide, and solve word problems. A miss opens a clue panel with the equal groups drawn out.

Fair Share: At a picnic, kids share cookies equally among friends and pack crayons into boxes, the two meanings of division. Then come fact families, division facts and problems with leftovers.

Practice it at home

Ask division as a missing factor: 24 ÷ 6 is the same as asking what times 6 makes 24.
Deal out crackers or cards one at a time to a few plates and count how many each plate gets.
